Notice of Commercial District Design Guidelines Workshop
Mayor Ferrelle will hold an open workshop on Monday, August 29 at the Winterville Train Depot, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. to discuss the design guidelines and commercial development plan for Winterville’s commercial district.
In February, the City Council voted to place a six-month moratorium on all commercial development within city limits, and voted in June to extend the moratorium for an additional six months. The City of Winterville is working with relevant actors to develop new planning and zoning guidelines. Citizens are invited to share their input on how the Five Points business corridor should look moving forward.
